Overview
The PMSP (Polarization Maintaining Fiber Polarizing Beam Splitter) is built on the PMFS (Polarization-Maintaining Fiber Splitter) with the addition of a polarizer. In addition to optical power splitting, the PMSP integrates polarization and analysis functions. It is primarily used in fiber optic gyroscopes, current transformers, and polarization-based fiber optic sensing systems.
Both the PMSP and PMFS are manufactured using micro‑optic technology and mature glass‑tube process lines. The PMSP integrates splitting and polarization/analysis functions, inheriting all the advantages of the PMFS, including excellent temperature characteristics, good transmission wavelength characteristics, high extinction ratio, high reliability, low loss, compact size, and easy assembly.
