Overview
The tri-axis integrated coupler is mainly used in tri-axis fiber optic gyroscope systems, integrating one 1×3 and three 1×2 fiber couplers into a single device. This reduces the device size and minimizes the number of splicing points in the gyroscope system, improving assembly efficiency.
In addition, the device is manufactured using planar lightwave circuit (PLC) technology, which makes it significantly more reliable than conventional fused biconical taper (FBT) couplers.
